영화 보헤미안 랩소디

토요일 아침 일찍 보헤미안 랩소디를 보기 위해 부산을 떨었습니다.
조조할인을 받기위해^^.
20년 전 데이트할 때 영화표가 5,000원 이었는데, 지금은 11,000원 이네요. 물가상승을 생각하면 그렇게 많이 오른 것도 아닌데(200원짜리 짜파게티가 700원이니까요), 지금은 왜 그게 비싸게 느껴지는 건지... 참 이상합니다.
여하튼 제 반쪽이가 할인에 포인트까지 활용해서 둘이 7,600원에 예매를 했네요. 수고했어 ㅋㅋ.

퀸 좋아하셨던 분들은 보헤미안 랩소디라는 영화 제목만 듣고도 알아차리고 기다리셨을 겁니다. 이건 퀸에 대한 영화라고.

저 역시 퀸의 전성기가 지나간 이후에 접한 기억이 나는데 어쩌면 요즘 20대들은 노래는 어디서 들어 봤어도 거의 모르는 밴드일 수도 있을 것 같습니다.
 
Love of my life, We will rock you, We are the champion, Radio Ga Ga 등 주옥같은 곡들을 발표하고 에이즈로 죽음을 맞이하는 프레디 머큐리가 준 충격!. 퀸에 대한 제 기억은 딱 거기까지네요^^

지금 와서 이렇게 영화로 보고 나니 아쉬움이 많이 듭니다. 나도 저런 공연을 웸블리에서 직접 볼 수 있었다면 얼마나 좋았을까 하고... 이제는 BTS 공연장으로 가야 하는 건가? ㅎ.

보헤미안 랩소디의 가사가 이렇게 슬프고 처절한 내용이었는지도 이번에 처음 알았습니다. 죽음을 앞두고 그렇게 절규하듯 노래했던 프레디의 마음도...
